Trainee Service Desk Analyst

As part of the IT team, you will provide support across the organisations business systems. You will work with users, clients, suppliers to ensure that requests and incidents are resolved in a complete and timely manner. You will :- Provide 1st line support to users, resolving incidents or ensuring timely escalation across the team within agreed SLA response times. 1st line business system support. Answering standard user queries relating to the core business systems and resolving 1st/2nd level system related issues. User administration of business systems, for example Active Directory. Assisting with infrastructure related matters such as desktop and device management.

Requirements:-

  • Strong academic achievements
  • Competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Understanding of a service desk ticketing system, ITIL and change management processes
  • Understanding of Active Directory and other Microsoft administration tools.
  • Highly motivated demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to communicate clearly with different audiences and listen attentively
