Officer Coordinator

This person will be responsible for the smooth running of the office which will involve a wide variety of activities, requiring flexibility and a willingness to learn from the successful candidate.

 

This role involves working with a wide range of people both internally and externally and liaising with external contractors. Due to the nature of the organisation, the Office Coordinator will often be the first point of contact for many stakeholders, hence we are looking for a person with excellent communication skills and a helpful and positive attitude.

 

The main responsibilities will include managing the general filing and administration for the office, including leading and delivering on small admin projects whilst ensuring GDPR rules are adhered to; managing board meetings, agendas and documents and taking accurate notes and action points at these and other meetings; arranging meetings and travel requirements; general bookkeeping which the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of, and managing outside contractors.  In addition, the Office Coordinator will have responsibility for Health & Safety within the office.

 

It is anticipated that the role will require a minimum of 25 hours per week, however there may be occasions where more time is required and we are looking for a person who is able to be flexible – the organisation will also accommodate flexible working where possible.

 

The successful candidate will have gained experience in a role with similar responsibilities and at a comparable level, which is reporting directly to the CEO.

 

The FTE salary for the ideal candidate will be in the range of £35,000.00 -£37,000.00 per annum and this will be prorated in line with the contracted hours.
