- The ideal candidate is someone who has previous talent management and/or learning & development experience and is familiar with the pace and considerations of working in a professional services (ideally, legal) organisation.
- Familiar with legal career paths, routes to qualification, and appropriate external qualifications
- Proven advisory and consultancy skills with a business partner approach to identifying organisational training needs
- Skilled at design and facilitation of in-person and online development activities, and managing effective supplier partnerships
- Comfortable using virtual delivery tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
- Pragmatic, balancing the desire for innovation, with the practicalities of a fast-paced fee-earning environment
- Digitally-minded with an eye for continuous improvement/automation opportunities and a focus on user experience
- Globally-aware and comfortable operating across international timezones with remote teams
- Client-focused with a sound understanding of the connection between the investment in professional development and the achievement of business priorities and strategy
