Talent & Development Manager

If you have an interest in supporting individuals to flourish, helping managers gain confidence in coaching their teams and leading positive career development conversations for the benefit of the individual and the firm as a whole then this could be role for you.

  • The ideal candidate is someone who has previous talent management and/or learning & development experience and is familiar with the pace and considerations of working in a professional services (ideally, legal) organisation.
  • Familiar with legal career paths, routes to qualification, and appropriate external qualifications 
  • Proven advisory and consultancy skills with a business partner approach to identifying organisational training needs
  • Skilled at design and facilitation of in-person and online development activities, and managing effective supplier partnerships
  • Comfortable using virtual delivery tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  • Pragmatic, balancing the desire for innovation, with the practicalities of a fast-paced fee-earning environment
  • Digitally-minded with an eye for continuous improvement/automation opportunities and a focus on user experience
  • Globally-aware and comfortable operating across international timezones with remote teams
  • Client-focused with a sound understanding of the connection between the investment in professional development and the achievement of business priorities and strategy
