Senior L & D Advisor

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior L&D Advisor to provide timely, high-quality advice, support and guidance to managers and employees across all aspects of Learning & Development. The L&D Advisor is responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service for all learning & development activities for the Group, ensuring an efficient service with secure, accurate, up to date records.

  • Good relationship management skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • A "can-do" energetic attitude, with the ability to evolve processes
  • High levels of personal commitment to task completion with an ability to prioritise daily work tasks
  • Proactive with an attention to detail
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Empathy and understanding to support and guide trainees throughout their training contracts


  • Previous relevant experience of working in a L & D setting or within human resources, preferably in a large organisation.
  • Previous experience of working with HR systems such as People HR Education
  • Ideally educated to A level or equivalent qualification or hold a professional HR qualification such as CIPD level 3 Skills
  • Confident to communicate professionally and manage relationships internally and externally with training providers and service line leaders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to contribute to discussion and respond to questions from colleagues at all levels in an informed and confident way.
  • Confident user of Microsoft word/excel/PowerPoint.
