Previously been appointed as an Approved Person and has occupied a Compliance Office Role and acted as MLRO/MLCO (for a minimum of 3 years)
5 years or more experience in a regulated or supervised environment, preferably compliance and managing small to medium sized teams.
Experience communicating with the JFSC and have ideally managed regulatory inspections and data calls.
Holds a relevant professional qualified in such as an ICA AML or Compliance Diploma.
Ideally worked within a combined Law Firm/CSP environment and understands the dynamic.
Excellent understanding of customer due diligence, including enhanced due diligence and high-risk features.
Comprehensive knowledge of client types, corporate, trust, foundations and associated CDD requirements).
Experience of Viewpoint (Entity Management), RDC (Risk Screening), ADEX (Practice Management) systems and Microsoft office preferred but not essential.
Due to the nature of the position, a high degree of integrity, a proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and the ability to pay attention to detail is essential
Exceptional written and oral communication skills (e.g. prepare and write reports including detailed recommendations; and prepare policy and procedures) together with strong analytical and problems solving skills.
